The wet-on-wet method needs to be done quickly when using acrylic paints. Buy yourself some extra time to create stunning color transitions, blend colors evenly, and work longer in the same spot by using the Amsterdam Acrylic Retarder. This retarder extends the drying time of your paint while maintaining color intensity and opacity. By adding a maximum of 5% of this retarder to your paint, you will extend the drying time. This gives you more time to work with the paint while barely affecting viscosity and opacity. Mix the acrylic retarder carefully with your paint using a painting knife.

• Extends the drying time of acrylic paint by a maximum of 20%
• Evaporates completely from the acrylic paint
