Amsterdam Acrylic Varnish 116 Satin Gloss Spray Can

Protect your work from dust, dirt and other external influences with Amsterdam Acrylic Varnishes. Make your work last and give it the protection it deserves. Amsterdam Acrylic Varnishes are available in spray cans and bottles and in matte, semi-gloss and high gloss finishes (high gloss only available in bottles). These varnishes provide a durable, flexible, reversible and non-yellowing seal, not only for acrylic paintings, but also for oil paintings!

Please note the following before using the varnishes:

• Make sure the varnish and your painting are at room temperature during application and drying. If this is not the case, a white haze may appear on your work as temperature fluctuations can cause condensation under the varnish layer.
• Shake well before use. Apply the varnish in a thin layer, holding the spray can about 40 cm away from your work. Only use the varnish in well-ventilated rooms.
• Apply only one coat of varnish. Multiple coats may result in an uneven shine.

Amsterdam acrylic varnish

• Apply after the paint film has completely dried (with normal layer thickness after 4 to 5 days)
• Shake well before use
• Dries within a few hours
• Does not yellow
• Can be diluted with turpentine substitute
• Clean brushes with turpentine substitute
• Highly flammable (in spray can: very flammable)
• Dry varnish layers can be removed with turpentine substitute
